The world is a big place.

Where do you want to go?

Welcome to the ultimate heli-skiing adventure:  our private lodge in the Tordrillo Mountains.

If you have always wanted to experience small-group heli-skiing with no one else around, this is it.  This year, we host groups of 12 for 7-day private and semi-private sessions from February 19th oil April 30th.

You will fly to Anchorage Airport, and we will take care of everything from there.  We will greet you at the airport and fly you by private ski-plane 100 miles west into the remote back-country to our Winter Lake Lodge.  The lodge is legendary in Alaska, and our hosts are Carl and Kirsten Dixon are known world-wide for their cuisine, wine selection, and warm hospitality.  The food is excellent and plentiful, served up in the main lodge with a full bar, excellent wine list, spa and massage therapy.  Guests can then retreat to private cabins to recharge for the next day.

In this pristine winter playground, every day is an incredible adventure.  There remain countless first-time descents and un-named peaks.  The snowpack of the Tordrillos often exceeds that of the neighboring Chugach, with the elevation regularly serving up light and bottomless powder. Endless glaciers carve between towering peaks, offering a great blend of open bowls, glacier skiing, ridges, spines and chutes for our skiers and riders.

Our guides are many of the world-class and certified experts who helped pioneer this terrain.  All first-rate safety equipment is provided, along with extensive safety protocols, training and briefings.   Powder skis are available upon request.  We fly A-Star B2 and/or B3 helicopters, with pilots who have deep experience in the Alaska back-country.  This allows for small-group skiing (4 guests per guide.)  We limit this program to 12 guests, ensuring the highest quality of service and allowing us to adjust the pace and terrain to each group and their abilities.

Each evening, we adjourn to the lodge, the hot tub, massages, along with incredible food and company.

We recommend this program for advanced skiers, ages 16 and up.  Send us an email for additional details.
