The world is a big place.

Where do you want to go?

Join us for the ultimate heli-skiing adventure, in the land of the Vikings.

Iceland is an incredible country:  A land of sea, ice, and warm people with a passion for outdoor adventure.  Just south of the Arctic Circle, mountains rise dramatically for thousands of feet above black sand beaches.  Active volcanoes and seismic faults vent geothermal steam all across the country.  In the winter, this land is now home to world-class heli-skiing, with pristine glaciers and couloirs that have never seen human tracks.  In the summer, the 24 hour sunlight creates a green haven for fishermen, bikers, and equestrians.

Our team is pioneering this unique heli-skiing terrain.  Lead guide JB Bergmann is our host, and is Iceland’s first and only UIAGM-IFMGA certified mountain guide.  2017 is his 10th season operating in a region that his family has been farming since the year 870 (!).

This is a true adventure of ski exploration and discovery. We are regularly skiing first descents and visiting peaks that humans have never summited before.   We host our guests at the Klængshóll Lodge in Skíðadalur valley (the Raven Hill Lodge in Ski Valley) on the Troll Peninsula in Northern Iceland. The lodge is situated right in the middle of world-class ski terrain with the closest runs only 3 minutes away.  The “Home Run” ends literally on the steps of our spa.  And this year, we are pleased to offer the newly renovated Karlsa Lodge — an original captain’s manse, perched on the banks of the ocean, with a private chef and private driver to take care of guests who want the ultimate heli-ski experience for up to 8 guests.

Our vast terrain covers more than 4000 square kilometers (about 1500 square miles) of breathtaking mountains that suits most every skier’s ability, from extreme couloirs to wide open glaciers. With mountains that rise straight out of the sea, we often ski right to the beach for our pickups.

On the Arctic Ocean, we enjoy a stable coastal snowpack.  During the winter nights, we dance under the Northern lights.   As spring progresses, we take advantage of the midnight sun. With volcanic activity, hot springs, lava fields and a unique Viking culture, you will find that Iceland is a true adventure skiing destination.

Skiing in Iceland runs from late February through June, with incredible corn snow skiing all spring.  (June is our favorite month!)  We build custom private and semi-private tours here for groups up to 16 people.  The terrain is widely varied, able to accommodate Advanced,Intermediate and Expert skiers.

Iceland is an undiscovered secret that is incredibly easy to get to, with short and direct flights from major US hub cities.  (It’s an easy 5 hour flight from NY.)
